These beautiful capsicums caught my eye at the farmers market at the Collingwood Children’s farm last week. I’m not that happy with them - the apples turned out a bit better - but a fun subject none the less.

This was a super quick sketch done on cardboard. Great fun to work really quickly on disposable supports and get a sense of freedom and energy into the painting.

This was done as an exercise for my course. The subject was food and we were using a beeswax based medium. Lots of fun working with the palette knife and using scraping and impasto.
